Recognising the lettings market was ready for a shakeup DixonEstates set about making it easier for good tenants to rent good quality property and for landlords to have complete peace of mind and trust in their agent.
DixonEstates has grown rapidly and now care for more than 200 tenants in Stafford, Rugeley and Stoke-On-Trent and surrounds because of a spreading reputaion for service.
Landlords who join DixonEstates do so because they agree:
- A landlord should not be charged set up fees, contract fees or 'get out' fees by their agent.
- Rent should be on time and electronically transferred within 2 days of receipt.
- The cost of tenant referencing should not put a good tenant off your property.
- Your property should be checked, frequently and thoroughly.
- Inventories should be thorough and accurate, so the CORRECT retention of deposit is with-held at the end of the tenancy enabling your property to remain in top condition.
- Advertising should be national, first class and thoroughly descriptive.
- Your agent should have a good relationship with your tenant and always be approachable.
- Your property should be maximising it rental potential.
- You should be hassle free.
In June 2010 Amy Dixon received the National Landlords Association 'Young Property Woman of the Year' award for services as a private landlord and for quality of service in the lettings industry.
